New Blog, Not-So-New-Story

Howdy, ho! I've been so MIA in the world of Sims 3 writing, but now I'm back...I think.

I MOVED BLOGS AND COUNTRIES!

I no longer live in the good US of A; I now reside in Germany due to the deployment of my parents. It's nice, but there's no place like home in 'Merica. *laughing emoji*

Anyways, my story Mimi Says is located on a different blog if you're looking to check it out, and I wanted to keep adding blogs from that Google account, but they're making me verify my old American phone number and wanting me to type in the code my phone receives. But, alas, my American phone number serves no good in Germany, and I wish they'd understand, so no more using that blog. I don't know how I'm going to transfer pictures and info from that account onto this one, especially with a new computer and all. Most of my stories can be accessed in the tabs above once I get them organized and they'll link you to their designated blogs.

So that's the somewhat brief recap of what's been happening and what will happen with this new blog thing.

~~~
Back in my Sims 2 days, I loved making stories. It was basically all I did on the game; making legacies and such just weren't my cup of tea. Writing was my calling for the manipulative characters. Between The Sims 2 & 3 stories I've written, my Sims 2 stories were my favorites. I'm thinking of remastering them all in Sims 3 or Sims 4 (when it releases in the fall!) gameplay. This one, however, titled Days of Our Lives, was a significant story of mine. I really enjoyed writing it and I would reread it over and over again when I had nothing better to do, so I figured why not just remake it on The Sims 3?
I just recently erased all of my custom content on my game because the hundreds and hundreds of furniture sets I downloaded were seriously causing a lag on the game, and frustrated Jada wasn't having it. Whenever I search for new custom content, I get inspired to write a new story and totally forget about the previous one I wrote (bad habit). There's actually another I want to form into a Sims story [fun fact about me: I actually want to become an author, so I write stories I legitimately want to publish] and it's a three-part series. But as I skimmed across old stories uploaded a year ago on The Sims 3's website, I thought about stories I wrote years ago on The Sims 2 exchange and instantly thought about DOOL. I wish I could just go to the website and jot down the character's names and the plot of the two chapters I uploaded, but EA shut down the site. *tears*
I have embarrassingly forgotten the characters and their names, but I kind of remember their appearances and I definitely remember the plot, so I'm going to experiment as I work on piecing together the remastered version of DOOL. If you followed my writing on The Sims 2, I bet you're probably excited. If you haven't, however, sit tight, and get ready to experience the best story ever. *wink, wink*
Story description will be posted once I create the characters *and find GOOD CC, it's so difficult to find superb CC for The Sims 3 for some odd reason* and make the cover photo of the first chapter.
Wish me luck on my custom content hunting. :S
-Jada
