The Main Characters

Helena Johnson 

A sweet, compassionate woman, Helena Johnson loves her family more than anything in the entire world. She puts her husband and daughter before herself on several occasions, as well as the people around her. She loves her equally selfless husband dearly, as well as her daughter, who fails to share the same emotion as her mother. She's oblivious to dangers around her, trying only to focus on the positives in life.

Lenord Johnson 

Dubbed as the superhero of the neighborhood, Lenord Johnson is a well-respected man in his line of work and also in his household. His confident smile and warm brown eyes successfully overshadow a brewing lifestyle that he's convinced no one will ever know about as long as he keeps up his poker face. 

Melody Johnson

A beautiful blond who shares her mother's hair color and her father's set face, Melody Johnson's inherited brown eyes fail to display the warmth of Lenord's towards Helena. Melody despises her mother's oblivious nature to the actual cruelties of the world, which is why they bump heads so often. An awkward, yet stable relationship with Lenord is the only thin piece of thread keeping Melody hanging onto her family life. Free-spirited and adventurous, Melody hardly ever obeys - or, at least she tries not to do so. 

Pharaoh Mattson 

A unique name fits such a unique person like Pharaoh Mattson, Melody's secret longtime best friend. A major disapproval in Helena's eyes, Pharaoh is not allowed to visit the Johnson's home, so Melody sneaks around to see the mischievous redhead. Pharaoh is a wild child, a crazy girl with an old soul and a carefree attitude. She holds a secret only trusted with Melody, which only lands her in hot water. Too bad for her, Pharaoh can't resist the scorching. 

Patrick Mattson

Typical bad boy Patrick Mattson is the year older cousin of Pharaoh, a silent version of herself. He's a cool, laid-back kind of guy that attracts Melody instantly, the snakebites and the nose ring taking her will to be rebellious to new heights. Patrick focuses less on his cousin's secret and more on staying in trouble and ruining lives around him, all the while holding a hidden compassionate spot so sweet it's fattening.

Stacy Mattson

Twenty-year old Stacy Mattson is the sister of Pharaoh and cousin of Patrick, who is also Pharaoh's legal guardian after their parents were sentenced to a decade in prison. The total opposite of her sister, Stacy is heavyhearted and the brains behind the Mattson family, but her lack of a GED, college education, or a high school diploma doesn't showcase her intelligence. In order to provide for both her and Pharaoh, Stacy makes money only the best way she knows how - in which the occupation requires flimsy clothing.

Cleo Maximilian

Cleo Maximilian, a much different kind of character among the town of Mountain Falls, plays the role of Pharaoh's secret lover. With a colorful Mohawk sporting the primary colors and furrowed eyebrows that give him a sexy, but dangerous appearance, he snags the heart of Pharaoh easily and stays impassive and uncharacteristically silent most of the time, much to Melody's concern.

Nicole Samson

Longtime friend of Helena's and godmother of Melody, Nicole Samson is the insightful gossip of Mountain Falls with stern brown eyes and a soft tone that says so otherwise. Only showing true kindness towards Helena and her family, Nicole serves as Helena's mental backbone and gives plentiful advice.
